Recruitment process in Koçtaş is carried out in two main branches, convenience stores and head office. Koctas Human Resources Department makes announcements through different channels in order to meet employee needs of the company for head office and stores within a year. Some assessment tools like general ability tests, personality tests, English exam, case and group studies are used during one to one interviews, in accordance with qualifications of the position, to assess candidates.

Koçtaş implements taking into account the size of the work done, fair and competitive salary system. In determining company's salary policy and the position in the market, detailed salary surveys, conducted in the field in which the company operates in Turkey, are considered important.
Salary increases are performed once a year in January. While determining wage increases, employee's performance, position and person's potential are some of the criterion taken into account. In that way, while employees are directed to a high performance level expected from them, high-performance employees are separated and rewarded.
Koçtaş bonus system is based on process management about determining rules and creation of applications about variable salary system of employees in a scope of total salary administration.
Bonus refers to total payments made in order to create a difference in total income, depending on achievement of predetermined objectives of organization or employees.
Bonus system is applied according to the position and seniority of employee in organization. Depending on the level on which target has been reached in case if employees provide expected performance, premium is entitled to.
Individual business goals are determined via target deployment system with the purpose to direct all our employees in the best way in accordance with company objectives. With this system, Koçtaş targets will be properly spread and each employee will take responsibility in attaining these goals.
Individual performances will be evaluated at the end of year at the meetings between managers and employees. Purpose of these meetings is;
- Determination of the employees reach of targets at the beginning of year,
- Determination of what needs to be done in order to improve negative deviations,
- Providing feedback to employees.
Koçtaş determines training needs of its employees which provide enhancing of job-related knowledge, skills and competencies. Koçtaş supports its employees' development in this direction.
Development plans of all employees are planned based on Koctas goals, strategies, employee performance and as a result of need analysis performed in relation to the requirements of the job. These plans are carried out through the year through sources such as classroom training, workshops, job training, articles, and videos, coaching and mentoring.
Taking into consideration employee development plans, company and employee needs, trainings are carried out through KocAkademi, which is development and sharing platform.
